Troy
G’day, I’m Troy – just your average middle-aged bloke with a not-so-average addiction to adventure motorcycling and poor financial decisions.
When I’m not dodging responsibilities or pretending to know what I’m doing in the shed, you’ll find me throwing a far-too-expensive (and heavy) GSA around the backroads in search of the holy grail: the coldest tank beer in the country and a chicken parma that won’t require a second mortgage.
What started as a “might be fun” hobby with a few mates has quickly spiraled into a full-blown, dust-covered obsession involving maps, drone footage, mechanical breakdowns, red sneakers, and just enough bad decisions to keep it interesting. I ride for the stories, the laughs, and the remote pubs that don’t mind a bit of mud on the floor.

This site is a glimpse into our two-wheeled stupidity, middle-aged mayhem, and the occasional moment of accidental wisdom between beers. Old enough to know better, young enough not to care. That’s my motto. You’re a long time dead so get out there and see the joint.

Shrimpy
I started riding bikes about 44 years ago, and I’m still as hooked as ever. These days I ride a Suzuki V-Strom 1050 for the long-haul and twisty road adventures and a DRZ400E when it’s time to get off-road and into the dirt.
I ride to work, for the thrill, and for the simple joy of being out there. For me, it’s all about freedom, mateship, and the satisfaction of pushing skills in all kinds of terrain. I love the mix—open roads, remote tracks, solo moments, and shared laughs around a campfire.
My wife loves jumping on as a pillion for a ride too, which makes the adventures even better. And riding with my kids has taken it to another level—passing that passion on is something special. Bikes aren’t just a hobby—they’re a way of life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way

Aaron (Azza)
I’m an old-school, hands-on kind of guy who’s never afraid to get my hands dirty.
I believe in giving life my all whether it’s on the job or out in the wild. I feel most at home in the great outdoors—whether it’s camping under the stars, tackling tough trails in a 4WD, hitting the road on my motorbike with mates, hiking into the unknown or sitting back with cold beverage watching the campfire.
I’ve got a big heart and will always go the extra mile for the people I care about. Showing my son the great outdoors is my greatest joy, and I love watching him learn and experience nature's finest. I’m all about exploring new horizons, soaking in nature’s beauty, and chasing the next adventure.

Stano
Hi, I’m Stano - The Elder Statesman of the group, desperately clinging to middle age, a mildly creaky, bbq loving bloke whose midlife crisis was the quintessential BMW 1250GSA (aka the general store) affording me automatic entry into cafes everywhere.
I am a very hands-on kind of guy who loves to get out into them and have a crack at DIY projects. Like all diy masters, I have a love of all things Bunnings with an intimate knowledge of all stores in a 50km radius.
If I’m not out riding I enjoy experimenting with new things from smoking the perfect rack of ribs to brewing the best craft beer or more recently trying my hand at making bread. If there’s a challenge in it I’ll have a crack at it, however with my trusty steed, a full tank of fuel, a healthy dose of optimism together with my fellow overgrown adolescents (aka my mates) I love to hit the open road, conquering the twisties, dirt tracks and roadside bakeries like a man half my age, just now with twice the back pain.
Give me a ride through the Victorian countryside to a quaint country pub with a great Palma and a healthy debate about tank beer and I’m a happy man. Remember midlife isn’t a crisis it’s a ride.

Smithy
Meet James — or as his mates call him, Junior. The nickname stuck because he’s the youngest in the original crew, dragging the average age down by a solid ten years among the "old pricks" he rides with. But don’t be fooled — Junior’s got the grit, the gear, and the guts to keep up and then some.
With his personal motto, “Fuck it! We only live once,”Junior lives life full throttle. He’s not waiting for retirement or the perfect time — he’s out there now, chasing the thrill, soaking up the moments, and making memories that matter.
When he’s not tearing up the trails on his motorbike, he’s off adventuring with his family — caravan in tow, 4WD hitting the dirt, or carving it up on the water skis. For Junior, it’s all about freedom, laughter, and the kind of stories you tell around the fire with a cold drink in hand and a big grin on your face.

Hunter
Hey, I’m Hunter, with a freshly printed license and bringing some respectability to the average age, I love to ride on and offroad. When choosing my first road bike an adventure bike did seem tempting… then I realised I’m a while off being old enough for those yet.
The sport bike was a much more appealing choice giving me the feel of a Moto-GP rider with nowhere near the amount of skill or experience. But yes having a louder exhaust definitely makes me faster through the bends.
Whether it’s dirt or road nothing clears the head better than ripping that throttle open and feeling like my wheel barely coming off the ground is an insane wheelie.
